Tulip Chef Rosie Wins 2 Awards at the Great Kitchen Party!

We are so excited to announce that our very own Chef Rose Colangelo competed in the Great Kitchen Party on Thursday, October 2nd, showcasing her creativity to hundreds of people and representing Tulip Sandwich Shoppe and her catering company La Rosa Catering.

Rosie prepared a black bean sauce, farmers gold arancini, chile chimichurri, smoked cherry tomatoes, and a salted crème fraiche, paired with Salinity Now! salted citrus pale ale from Bent Stick Brewing.

Out of 8 talented chefs, Rosie was voted the fan favourite and took home the People’s Choice Award! This on its own is a huge honour, but it didn’t stop there! Rosie was brought up on stage again to accept the bronze medal for the evening, decided by a panel of experienced judges.
